Vas al congelador a por la t\u00edpica bolsa de guisantes o buscas la manta el\u00e9ctrica en el armario, pero te asalta la duda del mill\u00f3n: <strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 me pongo: fr\u00edo o calor?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es la pregunta que m\u00e1s nos hacen en nuestra consulta de fisioterapia en Barcelona. Y es normal dudar, porque si eliges mal, puedes empeorar la situaci\u00f3n en lugar de aliviarla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En <strong>Apex Movement Culture<\/strong> queremos que tengas las cosas claras. Por eso hemos preparado esta gu\u00eda r\u00e1pida para que sepas exactamente qu\u00e9 hacer (y qu\u00e9 no hacer) cuando aparezca el dolor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La regla de oro: \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo usar hielo y cu\u00e1ndo usar calor?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Para que no se te olvide nunca, qu\u00e9date con este resumen r\u00e1pido antes de entrar en detalles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u00bfAcaba de pasar? (Golpe, esguince, inflamaci\u00f3n repentina):<\/strong> PONTE <strong>FR\u00cdO<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00bfLlevas tiempo con ello o es muscular? (Contractura, rigidez, dolor cr\u00f3nico):<\/strong> PONTE <strong>CALOR<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Parece simple, pero tiene sus matices. Vamos a verlo a fondo para que lo apliques como un profesional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fr\u00edo (Crioterapia): El extintor de incendios<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El fr\u00edo es tu mejor aliado en las primeras <strong>48 a 72 horas<\/strong> despu\u00e9s de una lesi\u00f3n aguda (\u00abaguda\u00bb significa que acaba de ocurrir).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo usar<\/strong> fr\u00edo para una lesi\u00f3n?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Esguinces:<\/strong> Tobillo, rodilla, mu\u00f1eca&#8230;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Golpes y traumatismos:<\/strong> Ese golpe en la espinilla o muslo que se pone morado.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Roturas de fibras:<\/strong> El t\u00edpico \u00abpinchazo\u00bb repentino al correr o hacer deporte.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tendinitis agudas:<\/strong> Cuando el tend\u00f3n est\u00e1 muy caliente, rojo e inflamado.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 funciona?<\/strong> Imagina que tu lesi\u00f3n es un incendio. El cuerpo manda mucha sangre a la zona para reparar (inflamaci\u00f3n), pero a veces manda demasiada y eso genera dolor y presi\u00f3n. El fr\u00edo cierra un poco el \u00abgrifo\u00bb de las tuber\u00edas sangu\u00edneas (vasoconstricci\u00f3n), reduce la hinchaz\u00f3n y adormece la zona, actuando como un analg\u00e9sico natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u26a0\ufe0f C\u00f3mo aplicar el hielo correctamente (\u00a1Importante!):<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nunca directo a la piel<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El hielo quema igual que el fuego. Usa siempre un pa\u00f1o o toalla fina entre el hielo y tu piel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tiempo<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e1ximo 10-15 minutos. M\u00e1s tiempo puede ser contraproducente (el cuerpo intentar\u00e1 calentar la zona mandando m\u00e1s sangre, justo lo contrario de lo que queremos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Frecuencia<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Puedes repetirlo cada 2 o 3 horas durante los primeros d\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Calor (Termoterapia): El relajante natural<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El calor es ideal cuando el dolor no es por un golpe reciente, sino por tensi\u00f3n acumulada o problemas que ya duran tiempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo usar calor para una lesi\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Contracturas musculares<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuello, lumbares o trapecios cargados por el estr\u00e9s del trabajo o la mala postura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rigidez articular<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Esa sensaci\u00f3n de \u00abestar oxidado\u00bb por las ma\u00f1anas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Antes de entrenar<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Si tienes una molestia cr\u00f3nica, aplicar calor antes ayuda a preparar el tejido (pero nunca despu\u00e9s si se ha inflamado con el ejercicio).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 funciona?<\/strong> El calor abre el \u00abgrifo\u00bb (vasodilataci\u00f3n). Esto aumenta el flujo de sangre, trayendo ox\u00edgeno y nutrientes a los m\u00fasculos. Adem\u00e1s, el calor \u00abablanda\u00bb los tejidos, mejora la elasticidad y baja el tono muscular, proporcionando una sensaci\u00f3n de alivio casi inmediata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u26a0\ufe0f C\u00f3mo aplicarlo correctamente:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Usa una manta el\u00e9ctrica, un saco de semillas calentado al microondas o una ducha de agua caliente.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unos 15-20 minutos es suficiente.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Precauci\u00f3n:<\/strong> Nunca pongas calor sobre una zona que ya est\u00e1 caliente, roja o hinchada (como un tobillo reci\u00e9n torcido), porque aumentar\u00e1s la inflamaci\u00f3n y el dolor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El enfoque Apex: El movimiento cura, la temperatura solo ayuda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Saber si ponerte fr\u00edo o calor es muy \u00fatil para gestionar el dolor en casa, pero <strong>no cura la lesi\u00f3n<\/strong>. Es como poner una tirita: tapa el s\u00edntoma moment\u00e1neamente, pero no arregla el origen del problema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si tienes una contractura recurrente en el cuello, el calor te aliviar\u00e1 hoy, pero ma\u00f1ana volver\u00e1 si no corregimos tu postura o fortalecemos tu espalda.
